Being a member of Local 8888 means you can take advantage of special benefits only offered to union members.

Aflac:

The Aflac insurance program has become very popular with members in the shipyard. Aflac offers coverage for disability, critical illness and accidents. It also offers life insurance that you can keep your entire life – even through retirement.

Delta Dental:

Local 8888 members have access to an excellent dental benefit through Delta Dental. During open enrollment periods, members can sign up for several options – Delta Dental PPO and Delta Care.
