Fall brings exciting football and beautiful foliage and -- elections. But if want your voice to be heard on Election Day, Nov. 5, you must be registered to vote. Tuesday, Oct. 15, is the deadline to register to vote or update your information. Don’t assume; be certain.

• If you moved since the last time you voted in Virginia, you need to register again.

• If: you have missed voting in the past two federal elections (Congress and President), you need to register again. 

• If you’re not sure, update or register again.
